八丁堀Haskell

八丁堀haskellはhaskellや関数型言語が気になる方のための勉強会です。 関数型言語を勉強したり、新しいライブラリーを作ったり、隣の方とmonadの話をしたり、 haskellのプログラムを書いたり、希望者でLTを行ったりするゆるい会です。 お互い分からない点を協力して解決したりしましょう。

会のタイトルが「八丁堀haskell」になっていますが、haskellの絞りはなく、 PureScript、OCaml、Idris、Agdaなどの言語に興味のある方も大歓迎です。

今回はアフターには、秋葉原に移動してのボルダリングを計画しています。 参加自由ですので、興味があればこちらからどうぞ。

幅広いレベルの方に参加していただきたいので、初心者からプロまですべてのレベルの方を対象としています。

• 本を読んでHaskellを勉強する
• lensのチュートリアルをやってみる
• PureScriptでウェブアプリを作ってみる
• Agdaを使って新しいライブラリーを作って公開する
• 会社の既存のJavaコードをHaskellで書き直す
• OCamlについてブログの記事を書く

途中入退場も問題ありません。

ビルの一階は扉を開放できないので、社員と一緒でないと入ることが出来ません。 13時にビルの一階で待ち合わせして解錠します。 13時から14時までは、社員が一階で待機していますので、そのあいだに来た場合は話しかけてください。 14時以降来た方は @cdepillabout までメッセージを送くるか080-2378-8004に電話して頂けると、途中でも扉を解錠します。

Hatchōbori Haskell Meetup

Hatchōbori Haskell is a meetup for people who like functional programming languages. Hatchōbori Haskell provides a place and time to study functional languages, learn about new libraries, talk to like-minded people, and just hack on code. We help each other with the journey through the learning process.

The title of this event is "Hatchōbori Haskell", but it is not limited to people who are interested only interested in Haskell. People who are interested in languages like PureScript, OCaml, Agda, Idris, etc, are more than welcome!

This time, we are planning to go climbing after this meetup. This is completely optional and not directly related to this Haskell meetup. If you are interested, please visit the following event page:

Time Table

• 13:00～ room is opened
• 13:15～ self introduction (tell everyone what you'll be working on)
• 13:25〜 functional programming jobs explanation
• 13:30～ hack, talk, study
• 17:15～ any volunteers are welcome to talk about what they worked on
• 17:40～ cleanup and leave

This event is geared towards all levels of programmers, from beginner to expert. The following is a few examples of people who are welcome (although anyone not specified on this list is also welcome!):

• people who just started studying programming
• people who haven't yet started studying programming, but are interested
• high-school students, professional-school students, and college students
• professional programmers
• people who want a place to read math or programming books
• people who live and breathe functional programming

Examples of Things to do at this Meetup

• read a Haskell book
• go through a lens tutorial
• create a web application in PureScript
• create an open source a new library in Agda
• convert some of your current company's Java code to Haskell
• write a blog post about OCaml

Coming and Leaving

You are free to come or leave at any time during the event.

The doors on the first floor of the building are locked on weekends, so you won't be able to enter the building without by accompanied by an employee. We will meet everyone in front of the building at 1:00 pm and let everyone in.

If you get to the building late, please message @cdepillabout on Twitter, or call 080-2378-8004. One of the employees will come and let you in. There should be an employee waiting downstairs from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, so please say something to them if you arrive late. They will let you upstairs.
